The Radiation Protection (RP) learnership program is available through the Necsa Learning Academy (NLA). Twelve months will pass during the course of the program.
Radiation protection will be the topic of the learnership program (NQF Level 4). Both theoretical and practical training will be provided. The Necsa Group will offer learners the chance to work there so they can gain the on-the-job experience they need to be prepared for employment.
Learnership in Radiation Protection (NQF Level 4)
Duration: One-year agreement
Program Results:
Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to:
Discuss workplace radiation and contamination risks as well as fundamental radiation safety;
Discuss the monitoring of radiation and pollution at work;
Observe radiation and contamination in accordance with the necessary standards;
Maintain radiation safety precautions outlined in the instructions; Control your own interactions at work for the best productivity.
Requirements:
Age between 18 and 35 years old with a grade in physical science and mathematics is required.
